A Day in the Life of a Bee Busters’ Employee: Combating Bees, Wasps, and More

At Bee Busters, we dedicate our time and efforts towards ensuring the safety of homes and offices from unexpected bee and wasp invasions. It’s no ordinary field; every day brings new challenges and learning opportunities – a balance of practical and technical skills, a sense of adventure, and a dash of enthusiasm for nature conservation. Here’s a sneak peek into what it’s like to be part of our team.

Morning Briefings

The day usually starts with team briefings to discuss tasks, identify responsibilities, and address any emergency cases reported overnight. As removal specialists, it’s crucial for us to stay updated on the different types of bees and wasps, general behavior patterns, safe handling and removal techniques.

Our first call often involves neutralizing potential risks, such as destructive or incurable bee colonies. It may sound stinging, but bee removal is sometimes a necessary step in safeguarding human health and property.

Lunch Break: A Chance To Be(e) More

Lunch breaks at Bee Busters provide an opportunity to turn the table and foster bees instead. Most of the team members are beekeepers apart from being removal specialists. This creates a love-hate relationship with heads under beekeeping masks and hands in honey pots, relishing fresh honey served straight from our in-house apiaries. Don’t worry about the stings; long-term exposure to bees accustoms us to them!

After lunch, we typically deal with wasp elimination. Unlike bees, wasps can be more aggressive and, unfortunately, less beneficial to the environment. Our team uses targeted, eco-friendly methods to clear wasp nests and prevent future infestations.

Evening Round-Up

The day’s last visit often involves following up with previous clients to ensure the bee or wasp issues have not recurred. Client satisfaction and safety is a significant part of our service commitment.

As the sun sets, the experience comes full circle, with moments of adrenaline rush, appreciation for nature’s fascinating creatures, and the satisfaction of making environments safe. That’s a day in the life of a Bee Busters employee – challenging, unconventional, and incredibly rewarding.

With Bee Busters, you don’t just get an exterminator. You get an ally in the battle against bee and wasp infestations. Our experienced team is ready to help you take your home back.
