Rise and Shine: The Morning Routine
As a technician at Coastal Comfort Inc, my day starts early. I wake up at 6 AM, grab a quick breakfast, and head out to our main office in Salisbury, MD. There, I meet with my team to review the day’s schedule and discuss any urgent calls that came in overnight.
On the Road: Serving Our Communities
By 8 AM, I’m on the road, heading to my first appointment. Today, I’m starting in Delmar, MD, where a customer needs an air conditioner repair. As I drive, I mentally prepare for the day ahead, knowing I’ll be traveling across several areas including:
- Fruitland, MD
- Harbeson, DE
- Lewes, DE
- Rehoboth Beach, DE
Mid-Morning: Diagnosing and Repairing
At the first house, I diagnose the issue with the AC unit. It’s a faulty capacitor, which I quickly replace. The homeowner is relieved to have cool air flowing again, especially given the summer heat.
Lunchtime: A Quick Breather
Around noon, I take a short lunch break. I often use this time to catch up on any messages from the office or prepare for my afternoon appointments.
Afternoon: AC Service and More
The afternoon is filled with a mix of AC service calls and repairs. In Rehoboth Beach, I perform a routine maintenance check on a customer’s air conditioning system, ensuring it’s running efficiently for the beach season.
Evening: Wrapping Up and Looking Ahead
As the day winds down, I head back to the office to file my reports and restock my truck for the next day. It’s been a busy but satisfying day, knowing I’ve helped keep our customers comfortable in their homes and businesses.
Working for Coastal Comfort Inc is more than just a job – it’s about being part of a team that serves our community and ensures everyone stays cool (or warm) no matter the season.
